Reports To: Director of Marketing/Advertisement

Position Summary:
The Player's Club Representative, under the direction of the Marketing/Advertisement Director, is responsible for representing the casino, assisting guests and facilitating promotions and events. This position serves as a valuable liaison between Ohiya Casino’s Marketing/Advertisement Department and the valued guests.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and communicate accurate information to the Director
• Actively promote the Player's Club and its benefits to Ohiya Casino customers
• Recruit and enroll eligible guest in the Ohiya Player's Club
• Conduct promotions and help facilitate special events and entertainment
• Distribute information about Ohiya Casino & Resort to guests
• Meet and greet customers upon their arrival, including bus and tour groups
• Learn and retain information concerning all Ohiya Casino & Resort promotions, entertainment and events
• Make announcements regarding Ohiya Casino & Resort promotions, entertainment and events
• Perform other announcements as needed
• Record information regarding guests, major wins, etc. for marketing department
• Will maintain confidentiality policies as it relates to business operations, the Ohiya Player's Club, valued guests and employees
• Will adhere to all SSN Ohiya Casino & Resort minimum internal control standards
• Will answer phones and use the PA system
• Responsible for other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• At least 1 year working experience or exposure to a hospitality or direct customer service environment
• General knowledge of gaming, including Bingo and CL II gaming devices are a plus
• Computer experience with database and modern electronic technology a must

Required:
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Must obtain and maintain Santee Sioux Nation Gaming License
• Must pass a drug-screening test and be physically and mentally able to work in a casino environment, with employees and the public
• Maintain strict confidentiality on casino business matters including Player's Club customer information
• Work assigned schedules that may include nights, weekends, and holidays
• In the event the Casino falls short of staff, you are required to a mandatory six-day work week
• Have understanding of Santee Dakota historical/contemporary history/culture that relates to Ohiya Casino & Resort mission, purpose and employment

Work Environment:
• Performed work will take place in a loud and smoke related environment
